Last week, I released my first podcast episode since February 2024, titled How to Overcome Failure and Achieve Your Goals. Following the release, many of you reached out with personal messages that have deeply refocused my attention.
Some have shared stories of the challenges they face—from job losses and financial strains to health challenges like autoimmune issues, weight gain, and fatigue.
While others mentioned feeling disconnected from loved ones.
Although these challenges come from different reasons, they all come together on a common theme: adversity.
Adversity is often seen as a period filled with misfortune and hardship, a time when luck seems to have turned against us.
But I view it differently.
I believe adversity arises precisely when it’s time for us to step into our greatness—to become the best version of ourselves, or as I often say, The You You Never Knew, a version of yourself you once thought impossible to achieve.
"Opportunity often comes disguised in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat." — Napoleon Hill
Like all things in nature, nothing significant comes without resistance. This force of negative energy not only invades our minds and affects our emotions but also shifts the collective unconscious to present great challenges—or what some might call "bad luck."
This is the universe's way of offering us awareness—more pain—to awaken us to work on aspects of our lives we’ve been avoiding.
When you ignore your call to greatness, the universe will do everything in it’s power to refocus your attention on WHY you came here and the mission you must complete before moving on.
Now, reflect on the adversities you’ve faced in the past. Think about it for just a moment. Did these challenges make or break you?
I suspect many of you will quickly realize that those adversities were necessary at that particular time in your life.
Initially, facing many challenges at once may feel overwhelming. However, when you Flip The Coin and view these situations from another perspective, you’ll see what I’m trying to highlight.
I wanted to write a detailed newsletter about this topic for you, but I got so excited that I decided to turn on the mic and speak from the heart instead. I recorded a message that I hope makes you feel better and encourages you to succeed.
Remember, there’s no such thing as failure—just chances to learn and grow, unless you decide to stop trying.
